How very cool! This watercolor of mine is featured today as one of “Today’s Best” on Zazzle.com. I love Zazzle for all the different artwork that can be customized on many different things.
It’s also been included on the website of the Toaster Museum Foundation . I so dig this. It’s in the Toaster Art section. Lots of fun stuff on their website. I love all the vintage toaster ads they have too.

Thinking of mother’s today, I turned an old photo of my grandmother Mabel “Jackie” Roberts into a card. I don’t know exactly what year it was taken, but I know it was prior to my mother being born in 1937.
That’s the Santa Cruz Boardwalk behind her. “The Giant Dipper” wooden roller coaster dates back to 1924 and is still there. I’ve ridden it many times myself. I’ve heard that in those days those striped umbrellas were available to rent.

My daughter is a star onstage in her high school plays, so I was thinking of her as I drew two little worms in their apple theater. When Leah graduates this year I will miss seeing her and her friends in those high school productions.
