
Well, hoard was a no-brainer. My 15-year old son loves squirrels, so it was a good opportunity for me to draw him a happy, hoarding, acorn-loving squirrel.
I sketched him out, scanned him in, and used Illustrator and Photoshop.

Well, this has been a week for learning. I haven’t used Illustrator in a while, so thought I’d play with it this week since I need to use it for a different project. It’s not quite as finished as I’d like. I mean… please don’t tell these guys they have no arms in the back. And the orange slice in the punch bowl looks a little goldfishy. But, third week in a row for Illustration Friday! Yeah!
